March 2, 2022 WPE Earns Four Gold Project Awards from VRCA

TOP HONOURS WERE IN FOUR CATEGORIES, COMPANY ALSO WINS TWO SILVER AWARDS  

The global pandemic forced the Vancouver Regional Construction Association (VRCA) to delay its annual Awards of Excellence Gala until this month, when they gave out both 2020 and 2021 awards.  

Western Pacific Enterprises (WPE) brought home four gold awards for projects — two for each year being awarded:  

2020 – $2 to $8 Million – Swiss Water Coffee Roaster and Over $8 Million – Molson and Coors Brewery Peak Project  

2021 – Up to $2 Million – Emergency Generator Replacement – Surrey Pre-Trial Service Centre (Old Build) and  $2 to $8 Million – Delta Hospital Electrical Upgrade  

WPE also received Silver Awards of Excellence for the BCIT Canada Way Electrical Replacement Project (2020 – Up to $2M) and McLoughlin Point Wastewater Treatment Plant (2021 – $2M-8M), and the VRCA Award of Excellence Safety Award for Superior Safety Record.
