^{December 13, 2024} Western Pacific Spreads Holiday Cheer, Sponsors Christmas Tree at Canada Place Holiday Event

Western Pacific Enterprises Ltd. Is proud to be a sponsor of Christmas at Canada Place presented by the Port of Vancouver and Vancouver Fraser Port Authority. The custom-designed tree is on display in the Avenue of Treesexhibit at Canada Place from November 29, 2024, through January 1, 2025.

This marks the 37th annual Christmas at Canada Place, a free family experience that captures the spirit of the season against the stunning backdrop of Vancouver’s harbour front. Over 210,000 visitors from across Metro Vancouver and beyond are anticipated to attend this year’s event.

The tree is a creative showcase of Western Pacific’s expertise and industry, featuring a red and white electrical wire garland twist, electrical components including a variety of lock-out tags, lock-out scissors and locks, wire nuts, and braker locks, all topped with a red Western Pacific hard hat.

The logo decorations were fabricated using a 3D printer by electrical engineering intern, Anh Trinh, who works on custom-engineered installation components for Western Pacific. He prepared the design files for 3D printing more than 20 ornaments in two colour schemes.

Karen Crouser, Project Supervisor for Western Pacific’s Shore Power and Gangways projects at the Port of Vancouver, created a wire garland twist and collected the various electrical components for the tree.
