Vancouver Post Office Redevelopment and Expansion – The Post ^Commercial

The redevelopment of the historic Canada Post building in downtown Vancouver, a building that encompasses an entire city block, transformed this 1950s architectural landmark. Two towers house 1M sq. ft. of office space, leased entirely to Amazon Canada, as well as 185,000 sq. ft. of retail and public amenity space. The project achieved LEED Gold certification while preserving its original façade.

Western Pacific was onsite at The Post since the beginning of construction in 2018, providing extensive design-assist services as well as completing all electrical installations for the base building, including fire alarm, ASHRAE revenue metering, distribution, and communication. Our crews then provided electrical installations and procurement, including all data and security systems, for the fit-out of the two towers.
