Dave started in the electrical industry after high school and quickly rose to prominence as a project manager, a position he held from 1979-1990. Dave took over the helm of Western Pacific in 1990 as President and has successfully driven the direction of the company ever since, whilst actively mentoring his employees in estimating and project management.



Tom has more than 30 years of experience in the electrical construction industry. He originally joined Western Pacific in 1990 and developed his skills in the trade before leaving in 1996 to pursue major transportation projects around the world. Tom returned to Western Pacific in 2013 as Transportation Division Manager and now oversees the performance and progress of all WPE’s operations across Western Canada as Regional Vice President.

Wayne Fettback

Director Safety & Procurement

Wayne joined Western Pacific in 1992 to handle accounts payable, and went on to become a Certified Management Accountant in 2001, and is the primary purchasing agent who oversees the accounts payable department. He serves on the board for Construction Safety Alliance BC, and is also responsible for the company health and safety department.



Derek has more than 24 years of experience in the electrical construction industry. He joined Western Pacific in 1997 as an apprentice, commencing a progressive career managing a diverse set of commercial, industrial, and utilities projects including converter stations for the Eastern Alberta Transmission Line (EATL). As Vice President, Derek oversees Western Pacific’s Heavy Industrial and Utilities divisions as well as central estimating for projects across Western Canada.



Andrew has more than 18 years of experience in the electrical construction industry. Since joining Western Pacific as a pre-apprentice in 2003, he has demonstrated leadership in numerous large-scale projects including the Saskatoon Civic Operations Centre, the Molson Coors Fraser Valley Brewery and The Post, the redevelopment of the heritage Canada Post building. As Vice-President, Andrew oversees WPE’s Commercial & Industrial and TI divisions, as well as our Alberta operations. He also takes a lead role in WPE’s design-build/design-assist projects and bid pursuits.



As a District Manager, Gary oversees Commercial & Industrial projects, specializing in those involving design-build, water, and transportation. With more than 30 years of experience managing electrical and design-build projects, his professionalism and skillful project management have generated a positive response from customers. Gary joined Western Pacific in 1995 and has vast experience in a wide range of projects such as the Whistler Sliding Center, Canada Line, Vernon Hospital, BC Hydro Substations, and McLoughlin Water Treatment.



Shawn has more than 18 years of experience in the electrical construction industry. He joined Western Pacific in 2005 and has been involved in projects that include Trans Mountain Pipeline PIIC, Ingledow Substation, and the Newell Converter Station. As District Manager, Shawn expertly oversees a team of project managers, project coordinators, project engineers, construction managers, and superintendents to successfully deliver industrial and high voltage projects across Western Canada.
