Western Pacific wants everyone who works for us to get the job done, and get home safe. Because of this, we have become a leader in construction safety, by frequently volunteering with groups, committees, and task forces within the electrical industry and WorkSafe with the goal of improving industry safety standards. We are proud of the fact that much of this volunteer work has helped to improve the safety climate in our provinces of operation.

Wayne Fettback, the Company Safety Manager, is active on the boards of both COCA and BCCSA, giving Western Pacific the opportunity to be proactive with many of the safety issues that arise in construction today.

Our company has multiple full time safety officers who work on premier projects overseeing all safety concerns, and one Corporate Construction Safety Officer who works companywide to oversee the entire company safety program. Western Pacific is proud of its commitment to completing projects safely and continues to evolve utilizing new innovative ideas and approaches to safety and environmental occupational hazards.

WorkSafe offers incentives to employees who create and adhere to health and safety management systems aimed at improving workplace safety and helping injured workers return to work in a safe and timely way. Western Pacific passes the annual COR audit year after year and receives the Certificate of Recognition for this program in all of our provinces of operation.
